About Diana

Diana Leggett has a long history of community activism, from her days at San Francisco State University's student strike onward to the Denton Women's March. She cares deeply about Denton County, and about making a difference for those who live and work here.  While recognizing all the good about Denton and it's governance to date, she sees an opportunity for even greater things and more exciting possibilities for our future.

As the Founder and President of WildRescue/Rabbit Rescue, she has overseen a nationally-renowned wildlife rehabilitation center located here in Denton. She has been on the Boards of Directors of the Humane Society of Lewisville, the Animal rescue League, and is a past director of the HSUS Cape Cod center.

Diana was also an art teacher with the Flower Mound school district and currently works as the practice manager and head paralegal for Durand and Associates of Denton.
